Dairy Goat Operation
Commonly referred to as a 'licence to print money', is the ability to supply the NZ Dairy Goat Co-op. "Willow Glen No. 2" is a fully integrated dairy goat operation supplying the NZDG Co-op in Hamilton.
The 39 hectare (more or less) property, located twelve kilometres north of Morrinsville, will be sold as a fully operational unit including land and buildings, 700 mixed age milking does (approximately), 200 kid does (approximately), machinery to run the operation, three dwellings and 55,287 MSR's (supply rights necessary to supply milk to NZDG Co-op).
Production last season was 76,200 MS from a mostly flat to very gentle rolling contoured farm with approximately 32 hectares mowable for silage. All this may be purchased for $6,500,000 + GST (if any).
The 28 aside (double up) milking shed is close to the three large plastic covered goat houses (new one is 66m x 27m and two are 77m x 24m) providing plenty of space for the current operation and room for increased goat numbers.
This is a compact operation with feed storage facilities and implement sheds all in close proximity to the working hub.
The three dwellings are all in very good condition and the location and provision of services in the area is very good.
The owners are rationalising their assets providing a genuine sale into a sort after investment.
These opportunities do not arise very often especially at an affordable level.
